1.2. Key Features of the Module

Key Feature of EA:
·         Options for manual and automatic posting level creation:
·         Automatic creation of the posting level segments when a posting level is provided by the user OR
·         Manual selection of each segment via drilldown to the lowest level of the latest mSCOA chart to create a posting level
·         Automatic creation of the structure totalling and consolidation accounts which are required to keep the structure in balance, thus replacing the use of the following Financial System functions:
·         G020 - SCOA Accounts – Import
·         G025 - Entity Words - Import
·         G033 - Entity Consolidation Accounts -Import
·         G035 - Linked Consolidation Rollup Accounts - Import
·         Built-in mSCOA validations rules which assists users to create ‘valid’ posting levels
·         Create posting levels for the outer years of the MTREF
·         Linking of VAT codes to the posting level is compulsory
·         Word creation (word 6 & 8) for the current version being deployed
·         Data take-on
